This project funded a conservation easement on the Paulson Ranch in Rio Grande County. The easement conserved 180 acres of land with 2.83 cfs total water rights. The land is grazed by mule deer, elk, and livestock and includes 35 acres of wetlands, which are habitat for ducks and migratory birds. The parcel is adjacent two other RiGHT easements, and contributes to their goal of creating a corridor of conserved lands.
