This project provided natural resource agencies with a framework to determine how limited water resources may be more efficiently and effectively utilized for non-consumptive uses, within adjudication, on public lands by agencies and organizations. The framework consists of an assessment and supporting documents, a compilation of historic and current information related to wetland extent, water use, and wildlife use. The assessment also provides information to help land trusts and landowners determine priorities and conservation values when pursuing conservation easements.
